Edited one year agoThis Pitman pressing has the big, room filling, stadium sound that you would expect from 80s DL. Booming bass and drums dominate this album and may slightly overwhelm the vocals and guitar work, obscuring their detail. Comparing this to my HRM pressing, I found THAT one has a less pronounced bass level but a marginally better vocal clarity. A reviewer for that pressing described it as more balanced, but I found the HRM pressing has a lesser impact of sound when comparing it to this Pitman pressing, having a larger presence.

I don’t know the source for this pressing, but it certainly sounds digital. Not bad, but the vocal is a bit suppressed in the soundstage, and sound as a whole lacks presence and dynamics.

Sounds great my copy is clean all the way through and is in almost mint condition both jacket and vinyl. This is the best pressing out of my pyromania copy’s. Highly recommend this pressing.
