I know there are copies from Japan, but gee golly gosh, it would be nice if I could get a one disc version of Pyromania domestically instead of being ramrodded into getting a multidisc set with extras I don't want just because I want remastered audio. Yes, I know, first world problems. It's really pathetic that single disc versions you find everywhere aren't the remastered audio at this point.

The writing credits for this are not accurate - those stated do not match the labels.
Also, my copy does not have the groove 3/4" from centre hole - otherwise it is identical.

I've got a version of this album but it seems like it doesn't exist. It looks like a chinese version but with a US cd, if someone know anything about this version, please tell me, thanks. This is the reference '' Y23 810- 308-2 ''

I found an error in most sleeves of the US versions: The order of the vinyl songs is not the same in the sleeve. in vinyl, the song "action! not words" is in position 4, while in the sleeve is in position 3, being this interchanged with the song "comin 'under fire".

While I applaud the quality, care and attention to detail that Mobile Fidelity Sound La s puts into all their albums, I have to say that this one at least makes no difference. Compared to the regular CD release MFSL does seem to have tamed the hot high frequencies probably left from when they mastered the vinyl version. All things being equal with this music just being loud, louder and loudest I'd say one could safely on this edition.

Hi, I've just acquired a PROMO Copy of this LP. Matrix Run outs as per variant 1 above for A and B sides, inner sleeve is a plain white with centre cut-out on one side, The red inner sleeve is also supplied, but not used to hold the LP. There is also a variation on the LP centre labels, in that under the line Engineered by Mike Shipley, it states Copy Right Control. Finally, the back of the album sleeve has a golden pressed rectangle with the words, Promotional Copy Not For resale.
I feel this might be a journalist copy, supplied to review the LP at its release. If anyone can help me in understanding value and origin, it would be much appreciated.

What I don't get is why Discogs still lists "Booker T Boffin" as the keyboard player on this album. We know now that its actually Thomas Dolby... See reference: Jim Allen. "Q&A: Thomas Dolby Talks Tech, Plays Word Association". MTV Hive.

There's even a link if you search that name, but nobody has changed the notes?
