I’m not sure what the complaints are about, but mine sounds great, and I ain’t got no Crosley. -
Really liking this release. The pressing sounds excellent, and the gatefold jacket is a very good thick quality production. The blue and yellow vinyl LPs are a nice collectible touch. One of the most epic 80’s hard rock, “hair metal” releases of all time. A must have for all collectors of the era! -
Damn this sounds fine! Solid EQ that can be played loudly without clipping or distortion, pressed onto wafer thin wax! -
I’m just commenting on the pressing quality, and have to say it sounds excellent. This played from a VG quality record.

Edited 3 months agoI've been a fan of Def Leppard from the time I first saw the video for Photograph. I've followed their career with great interest and I've never been one to like something just because it's DL. Def Leppard thru 1987 is just about as good as it gets for me. I've read these reviews and was disappointed, as I had already ordered my copy from outside of Discogs and didn't see any until after it was on it's way. I fully expected to spin a hot circle of garbage when I put this on my turntable, and I have to say....F the haters! This record sounds amazing. I had a 1983 pressing and I did a side-by-side comparison. Either my ears or broken or this pressing is more dynamic, the soundstage is impressive. I did not have ANY of the issues described here. In fact, I'm ecstatic with my purchase. 19 bucks well spent. -

Recently found a minty copy at a bookoff in Tokyo for ¥500, man the soundstage is awesome on this pressing lotsa detail and depth, now this is what a clean copy from 40 years ago is supposed to sound like! -
About time for a reissue as a picture disk for this classic album. Only one issued previously (2006). Used copies selling for over $100. I'll buy the first copy pressed. -

Quiet, but the highs are a bit too bright if you asked me. Weight does seem more like 200 than 180. Overall a decent version.
