Notes
This is the original press with L.T.J.-3 etched in the run-out, that plays at 33 RPM. A remastered 1996 repress, with identical label but which plays at 45 RPM and therefore is shorter than the original, exists. The same stampers were also used for the 2000 repress.
In 1991, an earlier version of Demon's Theme was submitted on cassette tape to Phil Wells from Basement Records, who, at the time, supplied Dan Williamson with promo records. An acetate was later produced with a Basement release originally in mind, however, with Wells' blessing, Williamson then sought to establish his own label - GLR - to put it out, having already self-released his debut 12".
Track A samples:
Tangerine Dream - "Yellowstone Park (Rocky Mountains)" (panpipes)
Malcolm McLaren & The World's Famous Supreme Team - "Buffalo Gals" (chanting vocals)
Rhythmatic - "Frequency (Depth Mix)" (intro' used for breakdown)
Holy Ghost Inc. - "Psycho Missus" (vocals/drums) & "Nice One, Boy!" (drums)
The Winstons - "Amen, Brother" (breakbeat)
Isaac Hayes - "Breakthrough" (breakbeat)
D-Shake - "Yaaaah" (pads used roughly halfway-through)
Sueño Latino - "Damas's Luxuria (a cappella)" (intro used in intro)
Kromozone - "The Rush (Sub Bass Mix)" ('Ohh...' vocal)
The bird calls are made by loons, (known as divers within the British Isles), a species found in North America and Eurasia.
Both sides are 146 BPM.
Track durations not listed on release.
