This is a VMP pressing that's permanently on the listening rack. It's an album I reach for over and over again. Just keeps getting better. Maybe it's the wonderful sound, or just a grower.

Absolutely incredible sound on this one, bass is insane and Kelela's vocals become more distant or prominent exactly when they need to be, it's clearly been mastered with vinyl in mind with the sheer dynamic range made use of here. Glad I waited for an unexpected restock from VMP, the orange suits the single artworks even if it juxtaposes the main album cover -
Edited one year agoThis thing sounds incredible! Mastered PERFECTLY. They managed to get deep rumbling bass, without the vocals sounding muddy. I was worried there would be a ton of crackling because there are lots of quiet and spacious sections of songs on the album, but I was wrong. The quiet parts are QUIET. I can’t imagine how good this will sound after a wet clean. Also love the embossed album logo and the foil numbered stamp. VMP is always great with packaging. -
Edited 2 years agoI have two copies! One of them has clicks and pops at the beginning of washed away and both have one at almost the end of let it go!
Someone else has this issue? -
Who is selling this at $150+... price gouging more than VMP. Which this is still available at for a third of what some of these listings are going for. -

Wow this pressing sounds pretty incredible! Record came with a bit of a dinged corner but that’s down to shipping. Transitions are so damn smooth, there’s depth and clarity to this pressing that makes it a beautiful experience -
I am very interested to know who decided this color but the pressing does sound absolutely amazing. The transitions just sound so much better on vinyl. -
Received it and it’s a disappointment( Not what you expect to receive for 66$. The packaging ripped in some places, the sleeves are warped. The vinyl is dusty… The quality of sleeves is also bad… I’ll take a listen later but 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬😭😭😭
Ok it sounds very good, the bass is so thick…
