Edited one month agoThis record came DIRTY and STATIC-Y as hell. Did a dry clean with a velvet brush, a wet clean with a Spin Clean, then another dry clean with the velvet brush. All three stages produced a crap ton of dust/dirt.
After that, the album sounds amazing :). WAY better than I thought this pressing would be from the reviews. Don't hesitate to buy, but make sure you clean it well. Records were pretty warped, but didn't affect play at all in my case. If it plays, it stays. -
There is some minor surface noise throughout the record, but it’s only distracting for me on “Sandcastles”. “Pray You Catch Me” is not as grand as I had hoped it sounded and it’s one of my favorites. The packaging and colored pressing is absolutely phenomenal. Comes with a thick booklet. Definitely worth the money! -

i just bought mine and looked at the reviews and got super anxious about the surface noise and it being quiet but when i played it, it had little to no surface noise and was loud too. ig i just got lucky🤷🏽♀️beautiful pressing and amazing quality -
Found this for $20 at my local wrecka stowe. This album has def grown on me since it came out. But the sound on this vinyl is just so not cute! -

I did notice surface noise on my copy that wasn’t super noticeable during the songs, but definitely noticeable during the quiet ages. Aside from that, though, this is a great pressing! Sound quality is good, though I did notice some very light sibilance on the innermost track of each side, and the discs weren’t warped despite the super thick booklet thrown inside the gatefold. -
The packaging is outstanding. Beautiful gatefold, the yellow of the records are bright and awesome and there's a huge booklet of shots from the visual album. My copy sounds fantastic also. I'm not finding any of the noise like other people. Mine is crisp and very dynamic. Great addition to my collection.
