this pressing is phenomenal, the quality’s very high and makes the already production and vocal quality soar through my speakers. very quiet, no crackles heard.
-
Great modern r&b album but the pressing is shit. My disc 2 was dirty, and had surface noise throughout on both sides. The production is quality though.
-
Incredible album and easily one of the best releases of 2023. Pressing is flawless and sounds fantastic. Massive, deep soundstage, dead black backgrounds, great detail and smooth vocals. 10/10
-
Utterly fantastic album this. One of the finest voices around. Not only that, the production is second to none. Big congratulations to Warp Records on a fine pressing, lovely gatefold. The whole thing is perfection for me.
-
i guess i got an okay copy. the bass is there and it's very nice, but throughout the record pretty much on all sides, there's a hissing noise. i guess i'll live with it. 10/10 aoty for me so far

I got one of the whooshy copies, ending my recent string of good luck with color pressings. Disappointing given how well it is mastered and how fantastic it sounds otherwise. Since there are so many quiet ages in the music, the audible whoosh does diminish the experience. Perhaps I'll try my luck with another copy.
-
why has no one commented on this yet? i was wondering since the album came out until i finally got my hands on the vinyl and i can't be the only one
but yes, the track crossfades are handled well here. each side just feels like its own medley. the songs don't just suddenly end once a side is finished, like some mixed albums spread on two discs do.
and this pressing is just as good as the album. -
