Notes
This Volcano reissue uses a sleeve that still contains the Zoo logo. The label says Volcano and Tool Dissectional.
Because of that, the old Zoo cat# of 72445-11052-1-RE is in small print on the back, however, the vinyl contains the new cat#.
Not to be confused with later pressing Tool (2) - Undertow which contains the exact same disc in a new sleeve altogether.
This pressing does not contain printed inner sleeves or labels and has a Parental Advisory "EXPLICIT CONTENT" sticker on the front of the vinyl jacket.
Also exists other releases of this album (Tool (2) - Undertow) with parental advisory "EXPLICIT LYRICS" sticker.

Picked up sealed for cheap at the exchange. Perfectly flat and sounds great. Only annoyance is how small the sleeve is to accommodate two records.
-
May be recorded a little low but crank it up! Great dynamic range in this press. Shame they’re over $100 now.
-
The packaging isn't that great but the sound is superb. Supposedly (announced circa 2017) they are going to remaster their library for vinyl. I'll enjoy this while I wait.
-
No sound issues with this record, but I wish the packaging was at least wider, if not gatefold. The two discs are cramped in there!
-
I ordered this from JB hifI and was a bit disappointed not to see a printed inner sleeve with any info like the CD does. Vinyl sounds amazing though.
-
To add, the deadwax has 11052 instead of 31052, but it has A1 B1 C1 D1 on the trailing end of the markings, as is shown here. Sounds like heaven either way. Love it. Just looking for info.
