Clean, flat, dynamic, well pressed. I've always wanted this and couldn't be happier. Strong buy. -

the playing and recording on this album is unbelievable! Sounds great, n was a good quality pressing

I was scared when I opened this and saw the trademark GZ Media runout text. However, I am pleased to say this record is practically flawless. Great, deep, rich sound, and little-to-no crackles or pops, which is rare for GZ

Beautiful, clean pressing. Flat and clear as glass. Comparing it to my original 1970 pressing, obviously the absence of surface noise is the first thing, but for this not being a remix/master, it really is faithful to the original in of overall sound. A true game changing masterpiece of the genre!

Mine didn't come with the code either. For the European release, it seems it is this one: https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/15595568-Miles-Davis-Bitches-Brew/image/SW1hZ2U6NDc1NDEwOTE= - it's not just the hype sticker).
I saw some other release where one submission differed from another just by the code (don't which). Is it the case the have another submission for this without the code? Otherwise, we need to update the description to state not all come with the code. -
I disagree that this is veiled. In fact, quite the opposite: it has more snap and punch than the MoFi, and is cut louder. On the other hand, there's definitely more tape hiss on this edition, which MoFi removed with their mastering -- but at the expense of that nice top end. This is also a slightly different mix -- for example, the tape pre-echo is all but removed on this edition vs the MoFi and OG 1970 pressing.
Overall I don't think you can go wrong with this one. It's less than half the price of the MoFi, and you're getting a more authentic jacket and center labels. My pressing is good. A few scuffs, but no audible issues. Pretty good value.
