Fantastic sound from this pressing. I love this album and definitely recommend picking this one up. -
This has to be one of the best sounding records in my 6023 record collection. Not only is the pressing perfect but each instrument and vocals sound clear and clean. Not sure what magic potion Eno used when he cut this baby but it's a pleasure to listen to. I actually bought it on release and listed to it over the years, but recently REALLY listened to it at volume. Maybe it's the mics he used or the tape, or the mixing desk, but it's just perfectly done. Whenever Percy Jones is on bass it's like his cabinets are in the room with me. Keyboards are present and clear, drums are punchy and solid. King's Lead Hat is an anagram for Talking Heads I have recently found out. -

Edited one year agoThis is the only version of "Before And After Science" that I own on vinyl so I have nothing to compare it to, but I think this Editions EG release sounds absolutely fine - no problems, no complaints. Great mix, excellent separation, crisp, pure, ambient ... very, very clean even in the most quiet parts (which this release is loaded with). Probably the only copy I'll ever own since there's no need to hunt down an improvement on this one. -
Edited one year agoI own eg edition and abbey road remaster and this one , this press destroys those This is now my go 2 pressing of this album absolutely stunning dynamics and bass!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
