This has to be one of the best sounding records in my 6023 record collection. Not only is the pressing perfect but each instrument and vocals sound clear and clean. Not sure what magic potion Eno used when he cut this baby but it's a pleasure to listen to. I actually bought it on release and listed to it over the years, but recently REALLY listened to it at volume. Maybe it's the mics he used or the tape, or the mixing desk, but it's just perfectly done. Whenever Percy Jones is on bass it's like his cabinets are in the room with me. Keyboards are present and clear, drums are punchy and solid. King's Lead Hat is an anagram for Talking Heads I have recently found out. -
Just gotta comment that this sounds absolutely incredible. Another Sterling achievement. -
I have a copy with this matrix etc but the image on the cover is blue, not black. Does anyone else have this?
