Well I don't think that the recording location is decisive for the name "Berlin Trilogy". In fact, the first album "Low" was recorded in , and "Heroes" (as the only one) in Berlin. -
Edited 2 years agoI have a BOW LP1 PL 13254 UK, but on black labels, from 1979. It also has the "A - I NO SENSE IS BETTER…", and: "B - 2 …THAN NONE AT ALL". I don't see it listed anywhere. Anyone?

I’ve owned quite a few different versions of this classic over the years but I always keep coming back to the original vinyl pressing. I’ve got a lovely quiet copy that sounds almost 3 D. No problem with the sleeve either. There was a time when I was lukewarm over this album, yet now it’s in my Top 5 Bowies. I think I’ve finally caught up with the work of art that is Lodger. -

Poorly pressed laminated cover you see a lot of these with a warp / wave looks like damage from water / heat but it’s just the way it’s made. -
Just bought a first pressing copy of this from a seller on Discogs to replace a lost or stolen copy and although the sleeve is slightly warped due to the glossy card it's made from I could not find fault with the disc itself. For a record that's 40 years old I couldn't believe that there wasn't a click or pop to be heard anywhere. Just goes to show that, like myself, there are still people out there looking after their vinyl.

Edited 5 years agoI have just acquired a copy of this but i cannot find correct details here, label is not orange but beige, it has the PL13254, but not
BOW LP 1, but IKAY 32931on the label and this is also stamped into the run out ? and yes it is the gatefold with lyric sheet edition, and was purchased in 79 according to who i got it from.
Any ideas anyone....is it a rare one worth loads ha ha ! -
