Notes
All Things Must is a triple album by George Harrison. Recorded and released in 1970, the album was Harrison's first solo work since the break-up of The Beatles in April that year. The original vinyl release featured two LPs of rock songs as well as Apple Jam, a third disc of informal jams. Often credited as rock's first triple album, it was in fact the first by a single act, the multi-artist Woodstock live set having preceded it by six months.
In regards to the album's size, Harrison stated: "I didn't have many tunes on Beatles records, so doing an album like All Things Must was like going to the bathroom and letting it out.
The album was critically acclaimed and, with long stays at number 1 in both the U.S. and the UK, commercially successful. It was certified 6x platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America in 2001.
On the song "Awaiting On You All," after the third verse's "... Someone's thinking that we're all green," Harrison sings the following lines to end the track:
"And while the Pope owns fifty one percent of General Motors
And the stock exchange is the only thing he's qualified to quote us
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see
By chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free."
The recording then ends with an instrumental close. On the inner sleeve printed lyrics, however, the "Pope" lyrics are omitted, and the lines are misquoted thus:
"... Someone's thinking that we're all green
By chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see
Chanting the names of the Lord and you'll be free
The Lord is awaiting on you all to awaken and see."

Welcome to this daily scammer report.
Today, the winner is martina-martino, (party emoji !)
We wish him/her, the very best -

What is Life has a very noticeable speed bend at the intro and the rest of side two sounds like it's wavering, though that could be just a chorusing effect Spector did.
-
Such a pity to have this ultra detailed box, a fantastic gem collector... and discover that is made by GZ Media....

todays scammer is seller "oncetdj" somehow managing to sell unlimited copies of this RSD 3 LP set at near MSRP price when most shops only received 1 maybe 2 copies. The web site link given mintedvinyl.shop doesnt exist on google and has no web history or reviews. The web site address shows as a storage locker. I would be interested to hear back from anyone who has ordered from him or knows who he is. Seems super sketchy to me and I would recommend not ordering from this scammer. It appears to be the same exact scam as the previous "jim Pullman" listed below Stay safe.

Bought this when it came out and haven't played it much--I usually reach for the 70s vinyl. It doesn't sound objectively bad to me: sure, the bass is a little cranked, and it might be a little hard on the ears like a lot of recent CD releases. But they crammed so much into all these tracks that I think it was always a bit fatiguing. Anyway, it's sounding better to me than expected after a few years.

I have my doubts about seller Jim Pullman somehow managing to sell unlimited copies of this RSD 3 LP set at near MSRP price when most shops only received 1 maybe 2 copies. The web site link given Vinyl Brand didnt exist until 3 days ago and has no web history or reviews. The web site address shows as a warehouse used for window blind manufacturing. I would be interested to hear back from anyone who has ordered from him or knows who he is. Seems super sketchy to me. Stay safe.

Edited 25 days agoThis is an average pressing as all of these USA apple pressings are, sounds just like an OG USA pressing. It does the job, but there’s no reason to spend over $40mon this you are so much better off with another countries pressing or the new pressings.
I certainly had an old copy with the speed issues folks spoke of below, replaced it.
