People below calling RAM uneven or lacking catchy songs are just like me during teenage years haha
Since like 14 yo Beatles became my favourite band (and still is), but I couldn't understand this album.
I could listen to McCartney and Band on The Run with great pleasure, but not this one.
HOWEVER, a couple of years ago I accidently heard Uncle Albert and it felt midblowing !
Butter pie? The butter wouldn't melt so I put it in the pie...
I played it again and again that day and realized how raw and Intimate it is.
Later I fell in love with Monkberry Moon Delight, Long Haired Lady and Smile Away !
I was so impressed how genre-blending RAM is. It experiments with styles and structures, demonstrating Paul's creative range. And how much of a genious he is indeed.
RAM shifts through multiple moods and melodies, resembling Paul's personal mini-suites.
Recently played it almost every weekend, what an album!

This A1/B1 pressing is brilliant, no need to comment much, just buy it and enjoy.

What an album! Every song on it is a gem. Found it for a dollar at a local charity shop and I snatched it up real quick. But still a great album.

I've got a Variant1 of this, and it certainly ISN'T laminated on the inside and out. The seam has split on the front cover, and it reveals 'FLAP REQUIRED K WAY'. This doesn't look like an addition, but it must be, right?

I had this album as a teenager in the 70's and have reaquired it thankfully. I often looked curiously at the picture of the humping beetles back then. Now, knowing more about the Beatle's relationship at that time, as I looked at the humping beetles and it hit me as I thought, funny a picture of a beetle screwing a beetle when a light came on! A Beatle screwing a Beatle! probably a reference to the lawsuits going on between them at that time..

To be honest this is my first ever first pressing (not takling about modern vinyl), and I am very happy with this one. Very rich sound.

A true musical masterpiece - this first uk pressing is as great as can be - really beautiful, clear, dynamic and full of details - a must have for any lover of that album

This is by far the best pressing to own of this one! If you can find a clean copy, don’t hesitate. The bass is fat & bouncy, drums crack and are crisp, separation is perfect, 3 dimensional and best of all it’s quiet due to the virgin vinyl used.

Easily my favorite McCartney album, and one of my most favorite albums of all time. The only adjustment I'd make, if any, is I would switch around the B side tracks, so that The Back Seat Of My Car was the opener, Long Haired Lady was the last track, and Heart Of The Country was track 4. Even without that, this album is perfect!!! 5 stars!!!
