Did all copies come with 4 cardstock inner sleeves? 2 of the 4 on my copy are slightly bigger and allow for the use of mofi inners within them which is nice. -

This CD sounds terrible. I don't know what happened, but this mastering sucks. I know it was one of the first digital albums, so I guess they had trouble with the early CD transfer? Damned if I know!
Get a Japanese vinyl pressing for the best way (as far as I'm concerned) to experience Tusk. -

Even though we don't have Ken Perry's signature in the run-outs, we can assume it's still the original master cut from the master-tapes as indicated by the Capitol stamp, right? -

If i understand it correctly, like some German pressings of 'Rumours', we also have the original master cut by Ken Perry from the master-tapes here, as especially required by the band?
Pretty cool then! -
One of the best sounding records in my collection. Softer cuts like Storms and Beautiful Child really shine, with the vocals sounding holographic. Only complaint is the vinyl is a little noisy at times.

Criminally underrated pressing. Yes, it is a Club pressing BUT it's the SAME stampers cut by Capitol which are the same metal work for the other consumer pressings and the Japanese release (though on much quieter vinyl). I've owned this pressing since 1979 and I'm not letting it go. Grab a copy for yourself and enjoy this masterpiece.

Sounds phenomenal! Really quiet pressing and the mastering is really good. How do you follow-up “Rumours” in standing the test of time to become a cult classic? You do something different and fresh. That’s what the Beatles did and in our most recent time, bands such as Radiohead has done.
Tusk was a commercial failure at its release but it is now considered a classic record. This album is a pure vibe. This is my favourite Fleetwood Mac record even over Rumours. Might be my favourite double album of all time dare I say. Lindsey Buckingham made a great choice in wanting to change the Fleetwood Mac sound. We must be grateful for the Talking Heads putting out great music at the time as Buckingham loved them during the making of this album. Even though some might consider this album as a Buckingham vanity project, the Stevie Nicks & Christine McVie songs are some of the best they’ve ever written on this. Songs like “Over & Over”, “Sara”, “Storms”, “Sisters of the Moon”. “Honey Hi”, “Beautiful Child” just to name a few are all amazing. Great album and great pressing!
