Fantastic pressing on my end without a single pop. Flat, heavy vinyl, great artwork. Seems like it’s a mixed bag on these. Mine did not include the sticker nor card inside sleeve, so most likely a repress.
Flat, dynamic and airy just like Joy Division should be heard. Great sleeve too, just wish it was a gatefold, but I digress.

Great Sound with no noticeable pops and without major surface noise. For this price, it sounds quite punchy. The sleeve is well-made!

Edited 11 months agoThis is an amazing pressing for the price. Quiet and dynamic. I was more of an Unknown Pleasures type of person. But this album suddenly clicked recently and I think that I now prefer it over Unknown Pleasures. Listening to this album on vinyl reinforces this to me. Songs like Heart and Soul and The Eternal really sound immersive on this format. Great mastering. The drums sound stellar and the low end is tight. Would definitely recommend this to a friend. Timeless record. -

While I have no other versions to compare it to, my copy is clean and flat. The playback has no noticeable pops or noise. The sound stage and dynamics are great. Technics 1200/AT VM540ML/Mani 2. -
I have a VG original pressing of this and this re-release. Though haven't compared them side by side (in different countries - hate moving vinyl) this re-release sounds bloody fantastic too. You won't be disappointed.

It's sourced from a digital master. This and unknown pleasures since 2007 at the very least. Let's face it, would the original master tapes even exist at this point? Probably not. I have an original pressing and it's nothing like this. The original is not as dynamic and loud as this. Mind you from that time none were like the sound we get now.
