I'm surprised there are no review yet for this release. Shock the Monkey was a minor hit, the video got some airplay on early MTV which gave Peter Gabriel wider exposure. I find albums from the early 1980s usually have a great mix for vinyl and Security by Mr. Gabriel is no exception. This sounds great, very punchy but not as loud of a mix. It reminds me of Mobile Fidelity mixes that requires a larger volume setting. Still, the sound is incredible, very dynamic, as expected from someone like PG. Tony Levin does some incredible work on this album as well. Song writing at its best, lyrics are timeless, this still feels fresh and relevant.
