Only this first pressing has the Burzum address printed on the back inlay and inside the booklet. If bought directly from Euronymous, then some copies came with the official flyer, lyrics, typewritted notes about future availability of lyrics sheet (see photos of release) and sheet with a pic and costs at the back.
A signed copy was given to a YouTuber who bested Varg in a driving contest in 2018. It was also the only copy Varg owned.
On July 15, 2019, Varg Vikernes autographed a copy of this album in CD format in his rural home in .

Edited 5 years agoThe first CD pressing with Varg's address isn't worth $1000, people! The one rare exception was a signed one. LOL. -
First and the best Burzum album strikes you with purest essence of hateful, angry and gloomy raw blackmetal with a few ambient touches (which are IMHO the weakest point of every Burzum release). Side Hate consists of four extremely brutal tracks filled with misanthropy while Side Winter is more emotional and even quite melodic. The only really bad song here is 'War'. Seriously, Varg gets too melodic here with the riffs. Every other track (except of mediocre 'Crying orc') is a masterpiece coming straight from the evil churchburner's mind.
