Deathlike Silence Productions

Profile:

Deathlike Silence Productions was an Oslo, Norway based independent record label founded in 1989. It was run by Burzum in August 1993.
It released a total of only nine releases.
Beginning in late 1992 or early 1993 and onwards, Voices Of Wonder Records handled the printing and distribution of the DSP releases. The label closed in 1994, the remaining planned releases were instead issued by other labels.

Note: All original first press DSP CD's were pressed at DURECO in The Netherlands between 1992 and 1994, and come without IFPI.

Curiosity: Voices Of Wonder Records.

The majority of DSP releases had "Anti-Mosh" catalog numbers, although some did have "anti-mosh" or "ANTI-MOSH" - some releases were inconsistent with this over various elements of the packaging as well.

Trivia: the name of the label is taken from the Sodom song "Deathlike Silence" from "Obsessed by Cruelty" album from 1986.
