No pops/cracks on mine. The sound quality is ok. It’s not very dynamic but I have a clean press! Pretty decent overall

I definitely purchased a copy of this new at Hot Topic at some point before 2009. Any one have any clues on if an orange reissue (without the T-shirt box) exists out there?

Does anyone knows the difference between this release and this? https://www.discogs.sie.com/es/No-Doubt-Tragic-Kingdom/release/3547947
I have one of this two, and cannot notice the difference. -
Just got this LP for a bargain and was quite disappointed with the sound quality - very muddy and compressed. It’s a pity as this is No Doubt’s masterpiece in my opinion. Hopefully a remastered reissue is in the works. Looking at the prices here in Discogs, it’s amazing how a bad sounding record could command such high prices.

Edited 9 years agoI also experience a few crackles at the tail end of "Sunday Morning" into the intro of "Don't Speak", but nothing too crazy. I did notice a very faint thumping noise, like a slow heartbeat, between songs and during very quiet parts of Side 1. I listened intently to Side 2 and didn't notice it there.
As for the album itself, it has so many great songs that cover and blend several genres. It's a can't miss.
