pretty bad quality disc 1 is full of pops and static and noise, disc 2 is better but also some very bad moments, amazing colour however
-
Edited 5 months agoIt's d as holographic but the inner gatefold is just a print of a holographic image. Both of my disc are safe from pops, noise and clicks.
Some of the songs are better in vinyl than streaming specially Pepper -
Disc two of this variant has very bad static throughout. Vacuum cleaned and ultrasonic cleaned multiple times. Total loss for me. Going on the trade pile.
-
every variant of this vinyl I have skips oddly on A&W in the last part but except for that it’s lovely
-
feeling really lucky about this record.
not even a single pop or crack, this record is much more quiet and introspective than her previous work so i believed the quiet and silent moments would be terrible in of noise, but they’re not, they’re as delicate and ellegant sounding as this beautiful body of work should be.
Still feel like disc two is slightly warped, but truly nothing that could influence the terrific dull sound of the record.
Fantastic pressing, really happy i could get this one. -
The second record has so much surface noise. I’ve cleaned my needle as well as the vinyl itself. Very disappointed as the color is beautiful.

Edited one year agoSounds nearly perfect, one of the best (if not the best) sounding pressings of ocean boulevard for me and I’ve tried them all
-
So, the copy I got of this was the equal worst record I have received in five years (along with the green pressing of Paramore’s After Laughter).
I have the explicit cover, and I had the white store exclusive. The explicit cover has a few spaced-out pops and clicks on side A (I’m picky, but the issues were so minor I decided not to email the store about it). The white copy had significantly more pops and clicks on side A, so I got rid of it. This orange copy has constant scraping-like surface noise in the right channel throughout every song on side A; there’s also an infinite loop on side B (but I haven’t tried to clean it off because what is the point), and the constant rotationally occurring scraping-like surface noise in the right channel comes back on side C (particularly during Deep Sea Fishing). So, it is the worst of the bunch, and I wouldn’t be comfortable selling it on for anything but a pittance (and I paid nearly $100 AUD for this).
There must be tens or hundreds of thousands of copies of this album pressed in various colours with an unlistenable side A. Does her team not listen to the test pressings? And why does her label ignore what must be a lot of emails about this?
Recut and quality control side A, for goodness sake. Stop making plastic discs destined for landfill 🤬 -
Unfortunately the pressing is not as consistently good as the first comments suggested.
This is the noisiest vinyl I received in the last two years. On the right channel there is almost constant noise and there’s distortions on the last track of side a.
Not as bad that I will send it back, but a bit disappointing. I ordered directly from her German webpage.
Music and artwork are great. -
