Dead quiet pressing but the music itself is loud, realistic and very engaging. Sounds like a band playing real instruments in your listening room. Vocals are great too. Highly recommended. Would suggest to have a copy of this and the mainstream mix.

Great pressing. This is my favorite Nirvana album. I was skeptical of buying a 2x 45rpm of it, but it's totally worth it. This album benefits from abrasive production, and no one did abrasive like Albini. Just rocks like a motherucker. Three and a half thumbs up.

never been a big nirvana fan but I was interested in this remixed version of In Utero (which I believe is their strongest album). this pressing is outstanding, I understand with this medium it's never going to sound perfect, but this pressing almost sounds like a CD or digital. i'm talking about little to no audible surface noise and distortion. and the mixes are closer to the intended vision of the band and producer, so I think this is the definitive release of the album

Just hearing this for the first time ever, both the full album and this particular mix. Beyond everything folks are saying about the mix (which is really awesome to my ears), I cannot believe the quality of the pressing: seemingly (if not literally) noiseless, no pops or cracks or imperfections. A thing of absolute beauty.

I have never heard a remix remaster as good as this. Albini did the album perfect justice a second time. Packaging and pressing are astounding, well done. 😮‍💨👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🥳❤️

It's still a bit unbelievable how they keep represssing the original press while this one is so much better and hard to get. I have all of the remix versions now (Bleach, Nevermind, Incesticide and In Utero) and they really belong together. Albini has a tendency of making things sound messy and less audiophile optimal than they could be. Never bas, but always could be improved.

I have never listened this album before like this, and I grew up with grunge, yesterday I took it out and played it and my chest was thumping on Heart Shaped box, I could hear each and every instrument, this is pure bliss, very Dynamic with slamming bass, what else you need?

Available easily, pressed at Pallas, grab it while you can before they move the pressing to some other plant, which makes the difference, and its common to have later presses at different facilities.

I’m blown away by this mix. IMHO the definitive version of this classic album.

I do love the Albini mix even if I miss the cello at points during Dumb. but given how plentiful this is, it's a great and easy purchase for anyone who loves this album. sounds huge and fantastic.

Very loud pressing, bit with fantastic sound. Splitting up the album on two 45 rpm discs was the right move, as each song sounds amazing. A minor nitpick is that I wish they kept the original cover and back design, as I prefer the yellow over the black, but that's hardly a slight against this package as a whole
