Notes
There appears to be two very different versions of the 2021 Target exclusive "Impulse Orange" editions of A Love Supreme. This version has the same jacket, labels, and runouts as the Walmart exclusive blue pressing John Coltrane - A Love Supreme. Both versions otherwise have identical barcodes and hype sticker codes.
A hype sticker on the front shrink wrap states:
"limited edition
exclusive
1LP
impulse orange
B0028424-01 ST04"
This version was also available - without the Target hype sticker - via the uDiscover music online store.
"Made in Canada" sticker applied to rear shrink wrap. However, there are no GZ Media matrix.
Recorded December 9th, 1964. Originally released in 1965 by Impulse! Records.

Reviews

Record is well pressed; low surface noise and well centered.
Lacks midbass/lower mids and sounds thin because of it, but that's either a mixing or mastering issue.

Quality tested using an AT-ART9XI cartridge on a Technics SL-1200G turntable with SME V tonearm. -
Very dynamic and clean pressing. Feels like an affordable variant of the AS with regular gatefold as opposed to stoughton
-
I'd recommend buying this if the Target half off sale is still going on. People have been speculating that this uses the same master as the Verve Acoustic Sounds Pressing. For around 15 dollars you're getting an AAA record.
