Edited 3 years agoBeen going through some of my old teenage vinyl... In the US this was out of print or hard to get so I bought this pressing as a rather expensive UK import... I just spent a pleasant afternoon spinning various pressings that I've accumulated over the years... This one's definitely got the most atmospheric sound quality, still sounds like it was recorded in a garbage can but man the details on this pressing are off the chain... The Celeste, the reverb, there's a fair amount of bottom on this too. The guitars jump out at you, Williamson solo on Shake Appeal will make your hair stand on end... the only thing I didn't have to compare it to was an original US pressing...My copies cover is completely destroyed but the vinyl is still more than acceptable... You're looking for an all analog version of raw power I would recommend this one.

I picked up a copy of this today except it is translucent red vinyl. Still has the sunburst label and the CBS boxed logo. Any info on this version?
