An incredible record from the progressive rock legends. Combine that with an incredibly mastered 2x LP cut at 45RPM by Kevin Gray, you get an awesome package. A very good pressing. -
I’m very happy with this reissue. I had never heard the Steve Wilson remix until purchasing this copy, but I’m really enjoying it. Also coupled with being cut by Chris Bellman, it sounds great. Disc is mostly quiet too, but not perfect. I believe this pressing might be getting overlooked due to the recent release of the 45 RPM Analogue Productions reissue. I bought this reissue to avoid spending as much as the AP reissue costs. Overall I am very happy with this copy over my original US copy. I think it is noticeably better after comparing the two. I am curious how this compares to both Kevin Gray cuts of this album and even the 2024 Bernie Grundman cut of the Steve Wilson remix from the box set. Probably won’t be doing any further investigation because I am happy with this one. I also love the alternate cover! Overall a fantastic and unexpected reissue! -
Simply sounds amazing! If you want a copy to enjoy, show off your system, spend some money, or all of that, this is it.

I don't understand the hating on this pressing. Sounds awesome to me. Quiet vinyl with great clarity and robust sound stage. Maybe I am just lucky. -

This 74 repress sounds really great to me. I guess it has been cut by George Piros (GP in run out grooves both sides) who has been recognised one of the best mastering engineer for the yes albums. -
This sounds great! Wish I didn't buy the Atlantic 75. I found nothing specacular about that LP. Sealed resale on eBay not even going for what I paid. This pressing you can't go wrong - highly recommend. -
While i await the AP SACD i compared the olde 2006 MoFi Gold cd to the 2011 Japan SHM SACD and it was no contest. The Jap disc was an aural assault of the fatiguing kind, where 2 mins of "detail" becomes a headache at proper listening levels. The MoFi is altogether better balanced with slam in the bass and textures galore but no digital nastyness. In fact its so good the AP SACD could well find itself getting beat. I am expecting the usual AP clean and realistic sound, dynamic of range but softer of transients and weaker in the bass. Bring it on AP!!!
