As a casual fan these records sound really good to me. I'm sure it's some kind of digital job and that the OGs sound better. But as a comp it plays nicely and I am happy with it. If you're a Cure aficionado then obviously you're going to want your fav music to shine with no or little compromise. But there's always the hunt for OG material. Such a Great sounding record! Regardless of whatever the negative reviewers say, this sounds Fantastic on my rig. Nothing “flat” but the vinyl, lol. High quality press, surprisingly! Super quiet vinyl, good separation and wide sound stage. Might be right on the Edge of being a bit bassy, but my system handles it perfectly. Also, I’ve been a DJ since the mid 80’s and I had OG’s including 12” singles, and I the same songs/parts being extra bassy. Anyway, this far exceeded my expectations. Anyone complaining needs to think about upgrading their system. There’s Absolutely Nothing to complain about here

Great album, super quiet, no pops. Good recording but levels are a bit flat. However I think in this case it adds to the mood of the LP.

While it doesn’t have everything, this is a pretty good collection of hits handpicked by Smith. You have to ire the sounds he produced with the crude instruments he had at the time. The recording and mix are also fantastic. My pressing sounds great. Highly recommended!

GZ media has really improved. Overtaking Optima and MPO. They used to be the worst pressing plant in the world. This record despite not washed sounds decent. It’s not fantastic but the sonics are decent.

I enjoyed the listening experience. Good album.

Si eres mexicano y lo ves en alguna disquería, no lo compres por más de 80 pesos. Una presentación sumamente simplona, incluso el CD es blanco con el titulo impreso en blanco. La música de The Cure impecable y preciosa, pero empaque bien chafón.

This is my only Cure album. This sounds great to my ears. Two songs sound especially good to me The Lovecats and Close to Me - both sound superb.
Pressing is brilliant. Dead quiet.
