The English rock band The Beatles existed from 1962 to 1970 and has recorded 12 studio albums.
Abbey Road is the 11th studio album by British rock group The Beatles, released on September 26, 1969 in Great Britain and . In the UK it was their twelfth album including the compilation album. In it was their 15th album including the compilation albums. It was released in the US on October 3, 1969, where it was their 18th album.
The album was named after the street of the same name in London's St. John's Wood in the City of Westminster, where EMI's recording studios are located, where most of their recordings were made. Abbey Road is the last album the Beatles recorded together.
With over 31 million copies sold, Abbey Road is one of the most successful albums worldwide.

My copy have YEX 749-2 1 ( A ) & YEX 750-1 8 ( B ) / Sleeve is textured and thick .
I only have the japan repress copy which has better clarity . I don't own the first UK pressing but tested it in a record shop . This Singapore , Malaysia , Hongkong pressing is almost similar to the https://www.discogs.sie.com/release/7801798-The-Beatles-Abbey-Road . Sound quality mastering is top notch or this pressing , warm and smooth dynamics . Recommended if you come across . -

I am absolutely LOOSING MY MIND!!!
I have never had a near mint copy play with so much noise before. This was sealed, I cleaned it and everything. It looks NM but the entire A and B side is plagued with noise.
Triple checked that it wasn’t my stylus or system. WTF?!
Going to get a replacement eventually hopefully that is actually normal.
I have the MOFI pressing that does great, but I think this sounds better so I’m bummed. This will take a backseat until I can replace. So so stupid.

Edited 13 days agoI've just done a back to back of my Japanese 76 against my Japanese red vinyl 69. The 76 wins the shootout. It's "bigger" in most aspects, and while bigger doesn't always mean better, it does here. The red 69 is a touch thinner and harsher. "Come Together" is such an incredible and incredibly recorded song that it's easy to start there with any vinyl version and think "wow", but you get through the album and start to notice deficiencies on the red 69 not heard on the 76. It's 76 for the win, for me. Red 69 going up for sale. -
Grab a 1987 CD release. Listen to that. If you like it, you will thoroughly enjoy this release. It's not like the "original", but it is *very* nice in it's own respect. -
referencing Abbey Road (LP, Album, Reissue) PCS 7088
so I have a first uk to compare this to and these are my thoughts.
This 76 press is the way to go not just because of the price. it comes out louder and clearer and has the in the room feel. i will say, the OG sounds fantastic as well and its close but i prefer this one.
The OG wins when comparing the jacket and label. the colors are so much more vibrant on the OG and the label has the nice green apple on it where this press is over exposed and has a yellowish apple. I don’t think stuff like this matters as much really.
also have a 73 french pressed UK copy that apparently has better stampers but it doesn’t come close to this one in any way.
