Yep, this HDCD sounds absolutely amazing. Clarity and separation of instruments, a dynamic range of sound allowing for space, bright and dark sounds, and capturing the highs without compression. Volume is just right. Nice liner notes which are historical and insightful. I like the cardboard sleeve. The artwork on the sleeve is thoughtful and fun. Fantastic show! -
Save yourself a bunch of $ and get these Dead HDCD releases over the vinyl. All these Rhino Dead releases are mastered digitally from Plangent processed files. Your gaining nothing from a further transfer to vinyl. To my ears these HDCD's sound better then the CB vinyl cuts.
