Before T.N.T., with Scott on vocals. The original record was distributed only in Australia and New Zealand. The two Australian versions were issued without a record sleeve, while the New Zealand version included one, making it highly collectible. One fan bought a copy last month for $7,000.
The sale marks the first time this record traded hands on the site.

Please Please Me
The Beatles
1963
This Please Please Me, is a rare find, as it was only available for a few weeks in 1963. Several key features distinguish it from later pressings. First, the labels are black with gold print, unlike the black and yellow labels of subsequent releases. The publishing credit for four tracks is attributed to “Dick James Mus. Co.” instead of Northern Songs. Lastly, the “Photo: Angus McBean” credit on the cover is positioned lower, starting at the end of the word “songs.”

Ryuichi Sakamoto
2021
Ryuichi Sakamoto’s 2020S box set sold for over $4,000 last month. Limited to 300 copies, it features seven analog records and a pottery fragment. Housed in a custom wooden “Hako” display, it’s a medium-spanning work from one of music’s greatest minds.
A second copy of the box set sold within three days to a different Discogs for $4,575. While this would have made it the fourth most valuable record sold last month, the list is limited to one entry per record.
