Every month, rare records, box sets, cassettes, and CDs change hands on Discogs. April was no different, with two releases selling for north of $10,000, one which is now the second most valuable punk 7-inch sold in Discogs history, and seven records selling for $5,000 or more.

A cornerstone of early American punk, “Touch And Go Records.
Of the original pressing, 15 copies were reportedly damaged, making clean examples even harder to find. One Near Mint copy, preserved in Flipside’s (an LA-based punk zine active from 1977–2000) archive, sold for $15,000 in 2025. Thanks to its pristine, likely unplayed condition, it fetched far more than typical copies, outpacing another copy that sold for $12,995 in 2023.

As a part of ith Les Discophiles Français (who commissioned the original recordings), reissued the recordings in a true mono pressing using 1950s valve equipment and original analog tapes. Only 100 individually numbered copies were produced. With its rare packaging and legendary performances, the release stands as a holy grail for classical collectors.
