The Classic Records Led Zeppelin 45 rpm Box Set consists of 48 single sided 12" records housed in a special Classic Records Road Case. The titles include Led Zeppelin I, II , III, IV, Houses of the Holy, Physical Graffiti, Presence, In Through the Out Door, and Coda with each spread out over either four or eight sides depending on whether the original LP was a single or double. These 45 rpm sides were cut at the same time as the 33 rpm discs and as such DO NOT represent a remastering that is different from the 33 rpm LP’s approved by the Band. Further, there is no additional artwork or extra recorded material of any kind. Each title has an art jacket that is the same as used on the 33 rpm releases with the additional 45’s in white jackets. Original label art by title is the same as used on the 33 rpm releases as well. All records are pressed on Classic’s proprietary 200g Super Vinyl Profile for maximum playback fidelity.

The first audiophile disc of each album is placed in the original record sleeve. All the additional audiophile discs are then housed in sturdy, individual white jackets. This is all presented with printed 12" by 12" index dividers to easily locate each album, housed in a custom, heavy duty touring road case with foam padding for a secure, snug fit.

Absurd prices. Acoustic Sounds or Rhino should make reissuing Led Zeppelin high priority. Both at 33rpm and x2 45rpm, AAA.

This record is the jewel of the vinyl collection!
It is very difficult to find, but if you find it, then the collection will be gorgeous!!!

Even though the sound is better, the inconvenience of single sided 45RPMs makes it stupid for me.

You have to realize that most of these fancy, expensive, rare, limited edition, etc. vinyl sets are more of a collectible, like art and wine, etc. They are an investment. If you maintain them, do not open them, etc. they will only go up in value, like they have done over the years. Supply and demand for limited editions, especially numbered versions, determine the value at any given time. Ten years from now these prices may seem like a bargain. Crazy, but really not.

Some of the comments below are pretty silly. If you don’t like the cost don’t buy it. The sound is pretty fantastic on these albums.

I also agree a RL ZEP II can’t be beat.

I also have tons and tons and tons of Zeppelin vinyl, including the later remasters described below, as well as every Zeppelin pressing Classic Records put out.

The Classic Records are really bespoke, super high quality, limited pressings, that likely will never happen again because of the time and popularity of the medium when these were made (vinyl sales generally were at the all time low when CR got the permission to do LZ). Very hard (probably impossible) for a company as small as CR to ever get the permission to do this again. Maybe Page and the label will allow it but wouldn’t count on it.

These single sided 45RPM boxes are also very rare. Not many were made.

On a very good system there is a material difference between two-sided 33 RPM LP and a single sided 45RPM LP. If you don’t agree with this. You would never want this box likely.

Where else are you going to get Zeppelin pressed on 12” 45 RPM??? Nowhere. Unless you press your own bootlegs.

I’m a fan of LPs and Zeppelin. I’m just glad this exists!

I own all the deluxe edition releases of everything they've put out, including The Song Remains The Same (super deluxe), BBC Sessions and How The West Was Won box sets and I think the pressing and audio quality is fantastic on all of them. I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong) across all those albums I own every single Zeppelin track that's ever been officially released. This giant set doesn't even include the rare demos and mixes that come with the deluxe editions... You can grab everything I mentioned for less than $1,000 easy. This is just stupid. It's also such a fucking hassle to listen to f̶l̶i̶p̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶c̶o̶r̶d̶ ̶o̶v̶e̶r̶ (edit) throw a DIFFERENT record on after listening to 2 songs when all of their albums (besides TSRTS and PG) are single LPs... This release is the dumbest thing I've ever seen.
