Kinda blown away by how much better this sounds compared to the CD I've had for all these years. There's a lot more depth and richness to the rhythm section, more crunch to the guitars, and a more open soundstage. Nice pressing, and nice packaging. My copy was purchased new and it's flawless, flat, quiet, with zero surface noise. Good stuff.

My copy has Don't Tell A Soul Side 1 on one side, Side 2 has Please To Meet Me Side 2 label on Side 2. Interesting.

Simply put, if you want this then feel at comfort knowing that mine and the commenters below's copies have sounded good.

I had a great buying experience with this. Cost £12, first class delivery and arrived on my doorstep the next day mint condition in wrap. The edges are quite vulnerable to wear. It's the type of thin material that you need to be careful with to avoid giving it wear, beware.

Inside the record is being kept in a poly-lined inner sleeve which is great to see. It also contains another inner sleeve with art work on it. It's a bit of a tight squeeze in their.

I gave the record a brush with the anti-static brush before playing with it and it had quite a bit of dirt come up. Gave it a clean and gave it a spin, it sounded very good. Only a bit of noticeable surface noise at the start and finish of songs. Sound quality was very clear and mixed well. No complaints!

This is quite an infamous album for the band, if you're here then it's likely you like it and would like to hear a less negative view on it, find my review of it here.

This sounds awesome. I Don't care about the source or the platter or whatever.

Really nice pressing. Comes with a printed inner sleeve. Mastered by Ian Sefchick at capitol, so a different stamper than the ORG plates. Sounds to be sourced from analog tapes, with a nice dynamic range, and wide sound stage. Vinyl is mostly flat and quiet. (Really nice packaging too. Label perfectly replicates that of a Sire pressing, and the sleeve is a nice high quality reproduction of the original artwork.)

Who cut this - a Capitol mastering e.g. Ian Sefchick? Ron McMaster? How does it compare to the 2011 ORG reissue?
