Fun fact: the US manufactured pressings of this album on CD actually have their channels reversed!
You can tell right out of the gate in “Behind the Lines”, Mike’s guitar should be on your right side, a bit in between center/right. Here, it’s panned all the way on the left channel!
A quick fix is to flip the stereo reverse switch on your amp or receiver. -
I used to write the date of purchase on CD's when I was starting to make the switch from vinyl to CD's. This copy of "Duke" on CD was a Christmas gift received on December 23, 1986. Atlantic Records. The numbers on the runout are 16014.2 S5E18 I believe there was another issue before the 1990 reissue.
