Cleanest and loudest pressing in my collection so far. Nice heavyweight vinyl (I don’t believe it does anything for the sound quality, it just makes it feel nicer to handle). Almost no surface noise, very dynamic.
-
Not quiet sure about my copy, sounds dull at times, some songs are lacking in detail, especially knowing how it sounds digitally. Packaging is great though.
-
Such an amazing pressing. This is among the best sounding of any new records I’ve ever purchased. Definitely worth the price.
And, of course, it’s OKC, so… -
Edited 7 months agoIf you really want this release, ask for pictures, everyone who’s selling a copy says it’s sealed.
HOW DO YOU KNOW ITS A MISPRINT IF ITS SEALED? I have a copy and took the pictures on this release and accidentally posted it on my dad’s . -
I guess it is pressed in the Czech Republic. They have huge orders and don't worry about quality, maybe one day...
-
Little bit of noise at the start of side two, but that actually adds to the ambience for me. Besides that, an amazing sounding set.
-
Edited one year agoNot really consistent, some tracks sound better than others, but this could just be inheret of the album itself. still i cant help but wonder if the much praised 2017 remasters solve this.

There might be a new Europe reissue of this that isn't listed yet. The copy I just received (new sealed, from Juno.co.uk) has XLLP781 etched on all sides), then each side as follows:
eeny: BL33275-01 A1
meeny: BL33275-01_B2
miney: BL33275-02_C1
mo: BL33275-02_D1
No indication of it being cut at MPO, so it's most likely a separate release and not a variant. Anyone else have this new version? -
I don't have an original to compare to but mine sounds incredible. Analogue warm, silent vinyl, huge soundstage. Vinyl is quieter than most audiophile presses I own. Really good!
