I agree with the last review, has some sort of paper or cleaner residue in the grooves. Once you play it through once and wipe the excess with a carbon fiber brush though, it sounds great on the next play. Picked this up at a record fair..... For way less than what scalpers are selling this for.

Edited 2 years agoMaybe I got the bad pick of the bunch, but both records are warped to fuck, looks like there’s actual paper or debris of some sort pressed into the grooves on Side B, funnily enough it doesn’t skip, but does have clicks / pops in the area mentioned. Most likely my first and last Respect The Classics purchase as it severely lacked any quality control.
