Madeleine Smith

A record label executive with experience in clearance, publishing, royalty istration and music supervision.
She has been actively working in the music industry since the early 1980's. Beginning as a songwriter primarily focused on music for children, she ed the National Academy of Songwriters. Her company Songwriter Services was formed and became one of the first "sample clearance" businesses in the industry alongside her core publishing istration focus. Eventually, Madeleine renewed her efforts as a sole proprietor in the areas of music clearance, consulting, publishing istration, and master recording istration under her newly formed company MS2, LLC.
