Outstanding Live Album. After reading a magazine review of the best live albums and of course being a Roxy music fan, I decided to give this one a go. WOW !! Turned up loud on my setup, this really does put everything Roxy Music are about out there. Amazing music, fabulous vocals and feels as if you're there in the venue when it was recorded. Brilliant

Brilliant live album from one of the all time greatest bands. This and the album Country Life are my favorites - but truth be told I love all their albums. Highly recommended.

This is hands down my most favourite Roxy Music album. I drifted away from them when they started their crooning period. Their early stuff is their best for me. I bought Viva! on release and I’m still playing it now nearly 50 years later.
As a previous commentator said, if you are an early RM fan this should absolutely be in your collection. -
i have this white label on dead wax blair and 20 ilps9400a1 b side I-73 ilps9400 bs any help as i cant find anything like it on here.

upon further listening I can hear which songs were recorded at a different concert in a different year. not that it matters. I have always loved the drama that roxy music adds to their live music. and for 1973/74 this is a great live album. Agreed this is the demarcation between the early roxy and the next stage of their evolution. they were/are still great live act as shown in ther early 2000 live releases and their 2022 tour. have owned my copy since 1989 still sounds good.

Much-maligned by the music press at the time this is in fact a superb live album, drawing the line on the old Roxy to make way for the new. The quality of the recordings is fantastic with great atmospherics. Standouts for me are the opening Out of the Blue with its incredible attack and The Bogus Man and If There is Something with huge soundstage. But its all exceptional really. If you like early Roxy Music and don't own this then I'd heartily recommend you add it to the collection.

Couldn’t agree more with the previous reviews
I would say Newcastle had the best of it side 2 is simply mind blowing very possibly the 3 best live recordings pressed into vinyl what ever you pay for this album and it won’t be much you will get a good old fashioned bargain buy and enjoy it it deserves it -
Superb and if you have experienced Bryan and Roxy LIVE for real, just close your eyes and have a de ja vu
