No sophomore slump here. May be the greatest sophomore release of all time. It solidified Lynyrd Skynyrd as the forever kings of Southern Rock, even over the earlier Allman Brothers. This is loaded with stone cold classics, and the deep tracks you don't hear on Classic Rock radio are keepers. Production was kicked up a notch over the debut (even the horns work). Second Helping is a must own, even with the laughable cover art. This pressing is good. Not great, but represents well.

Strangely I have one of these pressings with the "sons of the south" yellow first pressing label on it and not the rainbow label.. Strange. Must have used what labels they had left before changing them? No idea.. Kinda bummed it's not a true first press though. The matrix however is the first stamper of the second press.

Nice mix on this! Guitars are brought out just a tad during solos while high hat and cymbals are brought down a bit. Perfect.

These kendun pressings are always great! I have the first sounds of the south label and this 2nd edition both kenduns so they both sound equally great.
