I have seen more than one "alfa" zippers with no promotone on the label and A4 / B3 matrix numbers.
This one can't be a release from April 1971 as Promotone was founded in Septemer 1971.
I have this one with the non - promotone and A4 / B3 too, but I can't find it here including the alfa zipper.

I have read so many comments on this album spending hours, days on forums :-)
Which of which was the best release/copy, until it really started to confuse me rather than helping.
Tired of reading others comments I decided to buy both copies and made my own opinion...
If this can help you saving money, these are the LP pressing versions I compared:
UK (1971 A4/B4 CBS) vs US (1971 Presswell)
Without any comparison the US pressing is outstanding (for my ears). With deep bass (but not saturated) more dynamic and clarity.
The UK CBS pressing sounds very flat in comparison, lacking dynamic. Adding more bass or trebble to get "that extra kick" was vain. Dull and disapointing copy for the money I paid.
Brown Sugar being the worst track on this release (flat & muffled sound), pointless to increase the volume !
Happy from a collectible point of view to own a UK original, but very disappointed from an audiophile's. At least now I know :-)
Had experienced similar sound disapointment with Led Zeppelin I UK 1969 pressing (Phonodisc); vs US 1972 Presswell pressing.
