Yeah, this is a pretty damn perfect pressing. Low surface noise and great dynamic. Never heard the record quite like this, which is the reason I got into vinyl in the first place. I ordered the original pressing and cancelled it to order this one. Glad I did. -
Edited 4 years agoVery good mastering, wide range of sound, clear, with deep bass. Loud sound level, minimum surface noise in silent moments between songs. I usually find fault with the sound of MOV editions, but here is A Perfect Sound.

My copy has a MOV 000000 number stamped on the back of the sleeve. Does anyone have the same, or does anyone know what it is for? All identifiers and specs are as mentioned above.

Edited 8 years agofor a colored record it is surprising that there is little to no surface noise or crackes/pops. the dynamic range is definitely expanded, more on the lower frequencies though, albeit i think a bit too much. the bass guitar is booming through the entire record, what can be a bit distracting but the heavier guitar parts are absolutely massive as a result of this. as mostly with MOV, an amazing issue and fantastic looking vinyl. get this now while its cheap, since as usual, the limited MOV colored vinyl will have the prices hike up drastically. -
