Edited 4 years agoMade me all emotional this tune way back early 1991 when they played live in the club I used to go to at the time. Everytime I play this track I grab a beer and put it on, and don’t want it to end. B-side is excellent too. High five guys ✋

Edited 12 years agoWhat a tune, big Hacienda track, it has a really happy vibe to it with it’s “My god its full of stars” vocal intro dropping into the synth riff intro that is instantly recognisable, followed by funky break’s, bass and guitar all blended and worked through the track to great effect, weaving in and out of the track. Really fantastic tune and still enjoy listening to it, the Todd Terry remixes are worth a listen too.

Edited 15 years agoFirst heard this classic Mancunian track on a Pirate Manchester radio station called 'Sunset FM' back in 1992. The Mix Factory was the name of the DJ slot I think ?, also 'Paul Walker, 808 State' are the one's I can . Management Kenny Grogan Underground Manchester is on the jacket credits. This could have some relation to Underground Records in Manchester where you could buy rave music, closed down many years ago some time after the Manchester bomb. Manchester has World class A1 Music and in my opinion this is one A1 class Mancunian delight. It is a classic drum/keyboard/string/mellow yet dark rave track that I haven't heard replicated before. B side 'Ecto-Jam-Sub' could have been released as a A side single the quality is there.
