My copy sounds marvellous! No issues whatsoever! I just wonder if this could have been pressed on 45 rpm...

Straight out of the box both sides of first LP has numerous skips, weird marks and lines. Plays okay and not sure if just unlucky but based on other replies I would avoid this release if possible

I bought this when it was reissued because I missed the original. It’s fine, no issues, no snap, crackle or pop! It’s a more refined album than the first two. -

Just got this professionally ultrasonically cleaned and sounds like a totally different album :) -
mine is skipping in 3 places. When I bought it, it was not skipping. Then started skipping in the end of music:response.
Then in the beginning of under the influence, and then in its end. I can get rid of the skipping altogether by increasing antiskate.
Interesting that I have 2 copies of surrender, and they show the same behavior. I bought the 2nd one to get rid of the skipping.
It developed its own skipping gradually. In the same places. -
Misprint or Mislabel? First LP side A is labeled twice, top label is bubbled and the bottom is loose, I can flip it up and see it is a duplicate of the original bottom label, and it is on crooked. Should I try to remove it or just leave it alone?

Edited 2 years agoI just bought a 2LP reissue and it has labels for sides C and D twice, no labels for sides A and B. a Misprint, I guess ?

Has anyone compared this pressing to the original 1999 Mike @ The Exchange cut?
