Wow! I love the new remasters and have them digitally but damn, this blows them out of the ether! Perfectly balanced with a wide soundstage.

I used to have a 1978 UK vinyl release of this - lost in a move - in Gray vinyl, but it also came with a 7 inch single of "Come Back Johnny" in a picture sleeve, and also a Devo badge. Anyone seen that?

Quirky and Weird, but, also infectious and complex.
The group found electronic/synth pop, alleyways, and freneticism a la OINGO BOINGO, and surprisingly it is way listenable.
When released, it was so far out there, it was universal panned. -
My version matches this one exactly except for the "photo-illustrated inner sleeve that includes lyrics and release information". Mine has a clear plastic sleeve with printed with the Warners logos.

Incredible record, french 1978 version sounds pretty great (Virgin Records), i would advise to buy an early version instead of re-issues, especially if you want to hear the special sound hey had back in the days
