Not gonna lie it's disappointing that this was only a RSD release. Prices have calmed a little in the weeks since, but it's still the sort of thing that needs a general release! Especially as this is easily my favourite Chicane record since Behind the Sun and the first I've considered buying since then - he's been gradually honing his new sound over the last few albums and this is finally one I've had on multiple times since release.

This is a really beautiful album, I wouldn't put it up there with Far From the Maddening Crowds or Behind The Sun which were progressions that flowed throughout the album, more of a concept album, but nevertheless, this is very beautiful and has the depth that we so love about Nicks work.
Just so glad to have a copy, don't think there are that many of these although I'm sure they'll get a more general release in the future. -
Jesus, had no idea this had been put out for RSD, completely missed it. Immediately scoured the web looking for any copies, obviously discogs prices are just insane (shame on you you naughty flippers), scoured any actual shops, but they'd all sold out, was getting disheartened, then checked eBay which I was assuming would be the same as Discogs, and lo, there was some god almighty scottish vendor listing it for under £50, the rest were the usual scalper prices.
I bloody love the Scots! -
So happy I managed to pick this release up. Sounds fantastic & the album itself is some of his best work. Must buy for anyone sitting on the fence

Grabbed my copy at Wax and Beans in Bury today. They had two left. Very happy with it, as it's a very nice sounding pressing. Good quality gatefold, too.
Really cool to actually have a vinyl copy of this record, because the last time Chicane had one of his albums pressed to wax (which wasn't a first-time pressing *years* after its release) was for Behind the Sun in 2000!
It just means now that the only LPs of his not on vinyl are Somersault and Nevertheless. I have a huge soft spot for Somersault, so I do really hope it will one day get the vinyl treatment, but I won't hold out hope. The same goes for Easy to Assemble.
Anyway, if you're a Chicane fan and you can grab a copy of this, do it! You won't be disappointed.
