i had this press in NM, in my opinion sounds not really well. very pumped up, low dynamics. i have a standard european 1978 and in my opinion the EU sounds better, less volume but more dynamic, sounds more real. this Japan press sounds too much "modern" to my ears. Michelle has to much distortion on the vocals, the EU 78 press has no problem with that

This pressing sounds great! I was fortunate to find such a clean copy. No pops, cracks, or noise whatsoever.

Sounds amazing. These Japanese pressings are great. I love the Beatles of the 70s. I do think the stereo mix is a bit… too stereo… I find it weird to have vocals only on the right channel… I’d love to hear it in mono in this quality. But, over all amazing.

Finally got around to completing my Beatles vinyl collection. Just got this and man does it rock. Michele has absolutely no distortion...a common problem with the vocals - this one actually bests my 1984 NM blue box version. Really. Because it is slightly mellower and Michele has no vocal distortion at all. Excellent. All the detail and not all the sibilance. Not that my Brit copy is bad. It is actually amazing. This one bests it though. IMO.

Great sounding pressing. Very cool that Parlophone isn't on the cover. Can't go wrong with the Japanese pressings.
