I love the glossy cover and the zoetrope pictures, but the release is really such a mess... Wrong tracklisting, repeated tracks. Even though I love this edition, I really thought they would change the gatefold picture or at least the inner sleeves.

love all the art and the sound is good for a picture disc, I miss the complete tracklist

Another sloppy release from Blood Records. They're starting to lose a lot of goodwill. Incorrect tracklist on sleeve, indirect title on spine, duplicates tracks, poor sound quality. Combined with non existent communication, slow dispatch and slow shipping means a terrible customer experience. Pull your socks up Blood!

Sound is surprisingly good for a picture disc. The Zoetrope effect is one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. The downside is the back cover that doesn't list all the tracks like the splatter version and the song Obsessed that is repeated on side B and C

interpret this however you want to but i am never buying any zoetropes after this

most important thing: audio quality - it's fine and listenable, but i can tell that it's noisy, i am not surprised at all, never really had a good impression on picture discs/zoetropes ever to begin with

it bums me that not even the back cover is correct.
the material used for the sleeves is nice, and unfortunately it is only exclusive to this variant....

i get that they want to save the money, but man, it's still 7 tracks on side A, obsessed appearing on two different sides from the two discs, the discs are also stored in paper sleeves, same gatefold image, it's just disappointing imo

the fact i bought two dua lipa zoetropes off blood records beforehand and they arrived at once and... yeah.
this is not cutting it for me.

this could've been such a great reissue. i have never been this disappointed with a release lmao sorry for being so pessimistic :/

The only issue I had with this release is that it was stuck in usps limbo for 3 weeks which isn’t on the company. Mine sounds completely fine although I also think it was packaged really weirdly

I've bought a few picture discs recently with surprisingly good sound so I decided to plump for this. I will now be buying no further picture discs. It sounds like they got Rodrigo to shout at some sandpaper.

kinda noisy but it's a picture disc so expected
pretty good release!! would've preferred the foiled cover they d (and the correct back cover) but it's whatever lol

has anyone still not received theirs? i've been waiting and waiting and only received a notice that there was an issue with their shipping partner or something. i'm getting extremely frustrated with blood records.

Blood Records sent me a shipping confirmation email on July 25, but I did not recieve a tracking number until August 11. I had also ordered their exclusive release for This Is How Tomorrow Moves by Beabadoobee after I'd ordered this one, and that one shipped without any issues. Blood told me that the shipping delay was happening only for this release, but didn't specify why.

The record arrived to me today, so I can now review it objectively.

                      - The back cover and spine show no indication of this being the deluxe version.

                      - The gatefold image is the exact same as the standard releases, which is very disappointing. There was an opportunity for a really cool gatefold. I would've loved if the image were melted candle stumps where the candles reading "Olivia Rodrigo" once stood.

                      - My copy came with disc 1 in a PVC sleeve outside of the jacket, whereas disc 2 was in an antistatic inner sleeve inside of the jacket.

                      - Considering this release took months to be released and planning could've ensued long before Guts (Spilled) was even released, they definitely could've made different lacquers, cut them at 45rpm, and spread all tracks across all sides, like Laufey's Bewitched (The Goddess Edition). But alas, they did not. Side A has seven songs, while side D has zero.

                      - Obsessed appears twice: once at the end of side B and once at the beginning of side C, meaning Blood used the lacquers from the standard release for disc 1.

                      - The records do sound quite nice, surprisingly. Not audiophile quality, obviously (it's a picture disc), but not bad by any means.

Overall, I'm glad I ordered this and it's great to have all of the deluxe tracks, but it seems like a very lazy release, which is especially disappointing when you for the four months (and maybe more) that they had to plan this release out.
