Edited 3 years agoI used to own a CD pressing of "True Colours" (one of my first CDs, probably 1984 or 1985) which apparently isn't listed here. According to what I it contained the Master Mix of "Hot Water" as a bonus track, but none of the 1980s releases listed here has that. I'm not talking about the 2014 release, but a mid-1980s one. Unfortunately I sold it years ago so I can't look it up. Can anyone confirm that such a release exists?

B-side matrix variant 5 is on the A-side of my record with the difference being A//2 instead of B//2. 'POLH 10 A//2▽ 130 1 1 4'

This is an sleeper in the catalog. Great tracks and great production. It kicks off with the thunderous 'Chant Has Begun' which raises serious questions about the environment, all relevant today today of course, then 'Kansas City Milkman' is the best track and should have been a big hit. 'Seven Days' is a gentle and often odd sounding track that's as seductive as it is mysterious while 'Hot Water' could have been a James Brown cover, while 'A floating Life' is one of the heaviest tracks the band ever recorded. 'True Believers' is a jaunty slap bass that harks back to the early days and the CD bonus 'My Hero' is a classic and worth the asking price alone. 'Kyoute' is a percussive beast about a war, then the album ends with 'Hours By The Window' a sad song about a breakup that has a bass guitar almost floating in space with it's chimes that echo into the void. Well worth a listen.
