Simply a superb pressing of a great 80s funk album. Level 42 at their purest and the sound leaps of this edition. Audiophiles should covet this

A golden opportunity was missed with the 2007 CD remaster and I think Beezer One, Foundation & Empire and Forty Two should have been tagged on to this and not the live stuff and definitely the live stuff from 2001. It's a pity really as they were in the 2000 two disc set with The Early Tapes. I love this band and never get tired of the great music. -
Finally picked up a UK 1st POLS 1036 in EX+ condition, sounds great with loads of dynamics, punchy clear sound with great production and very quiet pressing too, even for a 35 year old album. -
I have recently found that there is also the original CD release from 1981(?) which had all the singles as their full 12" versions:
