Edited 10 months agoBought this on cd upon release in '94, and rinsed it. Really happy to own this on wax in 2024 with some killer bonustracks I never heard before (2Pac's brilliant 'Pain'), which totally live up the high standard of this compilation. A peerless mix of G-Funk and RnB classics that stood the test of time. -
This is a must buy. For Pain alone on wax it’s worth every single dollar. But this is a perfect mixture of rnb and hip hop. I’m playing side C now drinking cognac, building up buzz for Pain on side D. Easy 5 star. Buy with confident. -
Those that know about this movie and its soundtrack, KNOW.
At last we get the Tupac's Pain in all its glory... sadly missing on prior CD and vinyl issues. It still bugs me a couple of bangers remain absebt as one or two duds on this record should make way but hey ho. Overall for £28 its alot of music and its well pressed which for GZ splatter vinyl is saying something!
The sonics obviously still vary from track to track but theirs nothing nasty about how this has been done.
Highly recommended!! -
Good pressing.. some ticks on my Side A though.. other than that near perfect.. record sounds kind of loud; not low nor super loud

Much prefer the aesthetics of the 2021 RSD color variants (I find this one visually unappealing) but the inclusion of the three cassette only tracks (Pain--FINALLY) is so clutch. Can anyone speak to the quality? I haven't had a chance to play mine yet.
