So glad I got one of these, the sound is excellent

The live version of Mysterious Ways is the best version there is. The live version captures that Madchester groove they were going for with some of the Edge's best guitar work

Wow would have like the whole concert as opposed to an EP, which is just a teaser and seems quite unfair. Will be pissed if they release a double LP or alike next year. Especially at $70NZD for just an EP. Ughhh this addiction is real lol.

unacceptable after all these years to have only five tracks and not the whole concert

After 30 years of listening to the radio broadcast, most of these tracks are not from the show on Aug 28th, but seem to be from Aug 27th. The only exception is the track "Tryin' To Throw Your Arms Around The World" where Naomi Campbell (then fiance to Adam Clayton) came out on stage and began filming him, with Bono singing "like Clayton needs a Handicam". Quality is pretty good. U2 should officially release both shows.

Assuming this is just a promo and they are going to press the entire show onto a 2LP?

They already released the entire concert on a 2CD. This ep is $30 USD retail.

Also, I’m fairly certain some of these tunes are from the August 27th show, not all of these are from the 28th like stated on the official release.

Sound quality for a live recording is exceptional. Very quiet pressing too.

I don’t understand why only an ep….This was a great live with soundboard quality on a double cd issued in the 90’s…..this concert would have deserved a box set with some memorabilia and so on……come on !!!!
